When Lawrence Talbot (played by Benicio del Toro), a renowed Shakespearean actor, is called home to help find his missing brother, he finds the Blackmoor town terrified by a legendary werewolf and finally discovers that his father, Sir John Talbot (Anthony Hopkins) is the beast. After he's bitten and turned into a Wolfman himself, the son battles the father to the death in an effort to put an end to the curse.
