Sky–High

A view from my window one late afternoon

Having warm, home–cooked mixed curry noodles. The noodles were somewhere underneath the tofu, chicken, beef, fish cakes, long beans, coriander leaves and curry. I'm not a fan of curries, but this was good.

No worries about the calories. I do daily workout now as there's a mini gym at home, and I take smaller food portions.

Sipping corn and pearl sago porridge. Yummy!

Don't you just love the clear, blue sky?

The fragrant bunga kesidang (bread flowers) hanging by the pergola. The scientific name is vallaris glabra.

The flowers, which smell like daun pandan (screwpine leaves), are commonly used as potpourri.

I liked how the clouds came together, the rays peeking through, and left a shape like a bird spreading its wings. Can you see it?

Back to School

That's right. My 11–week long semester break has ended and it's time to return to graduate school. I've known my first semester results for a few weeks already. I didn't expect to do really well, but I did, thank God. I obtained all As for last semester's subjects and these final marks include written assignments (individual and groupwork) and other assessments inclusive of class attendance, participation, and quizzes, as well as final exams.

My second semester classes have commenced yesterday. I hope to learn more this semester and look forward to future classes. Wish me luck!
