It's A Woman Thing

I am currently on a cleaning mode. Yes, you read that right. Handwashed my clothes, my car, cleaned up the kitchen including the fridge and did some pruning in the garden. Women and their menstrual cycle.

Found out about washable, reusable sanitary pads and pantyliners recently and hoping to try one of these soon. There are even menstruation panties and tampon alternatives.
These reusable items are said to be cost effective and environmentallyfriendly. You get to choose the fabrics and colours for some items as well. Cool, aye?

The Family Stone (2005)

Everett Stone (Dermot Mulroney), a successful young businessman brings his ice–queen girlfriend, Meredith Morton, home for Christmas to meet his eccentric family. Overwhelmed by the hostile reception, Meredith begs her sister, Julie (Claire Danes) to join her for emotional support, only to trigger more problems.

The cast line–up bears well–known names and faces, but I don't know what to make of it. I didn't hate it, but didn't like it either. The film somewhat mirrors Meredith's character to a certain extent – tries too hard to please others, but fail miserably.

Rating: 1.5/5.
