Hi Skyjuice:)

Lovely quotes.

If any one can adhere to these quotes he or she will live a long, healthy and happy life.

But what happens in this present day world is that speed is the essence of everything. Even the slightest delay can result in big loss. This is very much applicable in the business world. If a decision is delayed, if a customer is not met at the right time, if an order is not executed as per schedule, if service is not done promptly there will be losses.

All the people who work in offices, banks, insurance companies and factories will have less time at their disposal and they have to resort to instant foods. Even working women have no time to cook food and they are happy to eat what ever comes their way. This is modern life. No time for any thing.

It is very difficult to slow down. In fact, like Alice in wonderland, you have to run faster and faster to remain in the same place.

It is true that there is more to life than increasing its speed but speed is the only way anyone can survive in this competitive world.

These quotes are meant for people like me and not you. But even in my case, I have to show a sense of urgency, otherwise I will be overtaken by competent youngsters.

I enjoyed this post very much. It opened up the flood gates of my thoughts. Many, many thanks.

Have a lovely day:)
Joseph

Hi Joseph,

Thank you for your long comment. I posted these quotes as a reminder to myself. I tend to do things quickly most of the times. I agree that speed is necessary in today's competitive world, but it's okay to stop and smell the roses sometimes.

Enjoy the rest of your day! :-)
