Batman and James Gordon (Gary Oldman) find alliance with the newly appointed DA, Harvey Dent, in dealing with the chaos unleashed by an anarchist mastermind known as the Joker, as it drives each of them to their limits.
The late Heath Ledger blew me away with his performance as the Joker. The Oscar was rightfully deserved.
