Cameron Highlands (2009)

Some of the fruit and vegetable farms as seen from a moving vehicle

Convent Primary School, Tanah Rata. This is one of the oldest structures in Cameron Highlands. For more information, see www.cameronhighlands.com/history.

A scenery in Cameron

Cameron Highlands Resort, owned by YTL Hotels & Properties.

Cameron has many nice hotels and resorts, as well as bespoke guest houses. Tudor
style accommodation is apparent here.

Cherry tomatoes

Citrus

Uncooked fresh corn. Good on its own.

Ee Feng Gu Apiary Farm. The farm is located further downhill from the junction that leads to Sungai Palas BOH Tea Estate.

See the hives?

My dad and I made a day trip to Cameron Highlands recently just to replenish our stock of honey and other honey bee products at home. It was school holidays, so there were many people on the highlands. Glad to see the apiary farms were not crowded as I'm not a fan of crowded places. We drove 880km for the return journey, but it was worth it. For my previous trip, see Cameron Highlands (2008).
