Buah melaka (pandan–flavoured round glutinous balls with palm sugar square filling and topped with grated coconut meat), a traditional sweetmeat.
Kuih lopes (pandan–flavoured glutinous cakes topped with grated coconut and served with palm sugar syrup), another traditional sweetmeat.
Cucur udang (prawn fritters). The use of tiny shrimps made the fritters turn reddish brown instead of the normal brownish colour.
Telur bungkus (minced beef, chicken, chopped onions, chillies and vegetables wrapped in eggs). Unlike omelette, making telur bungkus is a bit tricky as one needs the skill to wrap the beaten eggs around the fried filling.
