This beautiful resort by Timah Tasoh Lake in Perlis is owned by a friend's father.

The massive Timah Tasoh Lake is a man
made reservoir. The name came from Timah River and Tasoh River, which provide the main catchment. The lake is 1300 hectares in size and can hold 35.3 million litres of water. The lake supplies water to the state population as well as prevent floods from occuring.

Timah Tasoh is also a sanctuary for migratory wild birds that escape the northern hemisphere winter. (Source: www.asiaexplorers.com)

The resort is the only one on the water's edge in Perlis. It's currently undergoing a major construction for facility upgrades and such, adding more villas and chalets inclusive.

The resort's team building site includes abseiling, flying fox, kayak, monkey bars, rock climbing, spider web, and a suspension bridge. There is also a 14
obstacle course. The resort provides modules and certified coaches for team building programmes on site.

It should be fully operational some time in 2009. Would definitely pay another visit when it's fully completed.

Hi :)

Lovely photos and breathtaking views. I would rather like to stay outside the resort rather than in one of the villas :)

Many thanks for sharing.

Best wishes :)

You're welcome, Joseph.

I think camping is allowed in the resort ground. I've seen photos of school students and their tents while they were using the team building facilities at the resort.

Have a good week ahead! :-)

To me, it is a new found resort. As my home town is just nearby, i would like to stay there a night or two. The scenery is beautiful, thanks for sharing.

Thanks, 黄山. It is a new resort. Some parts of it are still under construction. Let me know if you need the contact numbers of the resort manager. Have a nice day! :-)
